What People Say

Most Liked

The standout feature of Peabody Diner is its breakfast menu, renowned for items like the fluffy French toast and the satisfying eggs benedict. Patrons love the generous portion sizes that make each visit feel like a true meal rather than just a quick bite. The fresh-squeezed orange juice garners praise for its vibrant flavor, often taking center stage at any breakfast table.

Coffee lovers appreciate the diner for its great brew, which complements every meal. A particular favorite among visitors is the banana split—missing it would be a crime. The resourceful staff makes sure that everyone feels welcomed, with friendly service that adds to the overall experience. It's truly a community-driven spot where locals gather, with a delightful buzz in the air.

Most Disliked

Sometimes, the warm, inviting atmosphere of Peabody Diner becomes a bit too lively during peak hours, particularly on Saturdays when it reaches full capacity. For those seeking a quiet meal, this might be a deterrent. Crowded tables can lead to longer wait times, especially during the popular brunch hours. Parking can also be limited on busy days, prompting a few visitors to wish for more spaces. Additionally, while the diner does serve a wide range of delicious lunch items, those craving dinner options may be disappointed as it only caters to breakfast and lunch.

Some diners have noted that the restroom facilities, while clean, can become overwhelmed during peak times, making accessibility a bit of a challenge. It's essential to plan your visit accordingly to avoid these hiccups.

I Loved the Peabody Diner! I had the Ruben sandwich with chips- I will say that sadly I did not get a pic of it, it was THAT good! 😋😋 I had coffee to drink and it was pretty good!! The atmosphere is just what I was hoping for, quaint, locals coming in for lunch as well. Their prices are terrific, especially in a more torist-y area. The menu had a nice selection of breakfast foods as well as lunch foods. The restroom was nice and clean and was not dirty or stinky. I will say tho, they only serve breakfast and lunch, so stop in early for this hidden jem in the hustle and bustle of tourists! My hats off the Peabody Diner and I would absolutely have to say this is a ****HIGHLY RECOMMENDED**** Stop while in the area- which happens to be right on the Salem line😁😮😉

Recently visited The Peabody Diner, which has been voted the best in 2024 and 2025 — and it’s easy to see why! It’s a great spot with a solid breakfast selection. We tried the veggie omelette and blueberry pancakes — both were fresh, tasty, and served in generous portions. It was a bit noisy and crowded for my personal taste, especially during peak hours, but that’s part of its popularity. Parking can also be a bit tricky due to how busy it gets. That said, if you're looking for a classic, lively breakfast spot, it's definitely worth checking out.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. Today I ordered the everything omelette with a side of blueberry waffles and it did not disappoint. The flavor and quality is delicious. Will be back!!

The food was amazing, but who was really stellar was our server! We didn’t get her name but she was attentive, extremely nice, and when we told her it was our first time at the diner, she was quick to recommend the fresh squeezed orange juice. She was right - it was the best orange juice I think I’ve ever had, no exaggeration! The food was plentiful and delicious and the servings were quite generous for how affordable this spot is. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back next time we are in the area.
